A Power Management System (PMS) within emergency power systems ensures that emergency power is provided and distributed adequately and safely. In case of an emergency, the PMS controls the automatic connection and disconnection of generators, as well as the synchronization and load sharing between the emergency generators, thus preventing overloads and outages. During a grid failure, the emergency power supply is ensured by automatically starting and connecting the necessary emergency generators.
All models of SYMAP®BC and Y series offer comprehensive protection functions as well as a synchronization function.
